I would just like to comment (i'm from bulgaria) and that's nothing against anybody either BUT the so called chalga music is not bulgarian. It's a disgrace to the true bulgarian folklore music that is what should be remixed, not chalga. Chalga is music that is stolen or strongly influenced by the middle east (arabic mostly), turks, and neighboring countries around bulgaria. It's also influced by a lot of gypsy music. A lot of the singers are cheap girls that cannot sing but thanks to technology it doesn't sound too bad. There's bulgarian rap, pop and metal but that doesn't make it bulgarian music....just like chalga.
