B EAST Issue #5 ROUGES

The fifth ‘Rogues issue of  B EAST  Magazine, the New Europe’s provocative fashion and attitude glossy, hit newstands in the fall of 2006. This issue was dedicated to the rogues of Eastern Europe: the mobsters, oligarchs, hucksters, con men and others who give this region its wicked buzz. It was also a swan song for Turkmen strongman, Turkmenbashi, who died suddenly soon after the issue came out.
