Nothing I can think of that would do a better job of this in fact. It's akin to a large media outlet banning a book or a film, people come flocking to see what all the fuss is about. And it's a real shame because it's the lowest class of tourist that will travel. Ukrainian beauties look out for greasy Eye-Ties and Ryan Air pikeys will come knocking on your door brandishing beer bottles and shouting obscenities. Not much different than the locals really, but ruining the reputation of more friendly foreign travelers in the process.
